Why CoorgOne
We are a small team from Madikeri who visit every property, walk every trail and know every host by name.
No listing goes live until we have slept there ourselves — clean rooms, honest photos, real hosts.
Homestays and estate owners keep the full room rate; we never charge hosts a commission to be seen.
Small groups, plastic-free kitchens and trails that stay on marked paths through fragile forest country.
“Coorg is not a checklist. It is coffee blossoms in November, a Kodava kitchen at lunch, and rain arriving exactly when you hoped it would.”

Traveller stories
Verified stays, honest reviews — a 4.9 average across 2,400+ trips planned.
We booked the Misty Highlands estate on a Thursday and were drinking estate coffee by Friday dawn. Everything CoorgOne promised was exactly what we found.
The Brahmagiri trek was run beautifully — small group, real naturalist, permits handled. Best-organised weekend I've done in Karnataka.
Travelling with two kids and my parents could have been chaos. The guide told us exactly where to stay and what to skip. Stress-free from start to finish.
Good to know
Everything you need before you book — and what locals wish you knew.
October to March is ideal: cool mornings, clear viewpoints and coffee blossom season. Visit between June and September if you want waterfalls at their fiercest, though the winding estate roads get slippery.
Coorg has no airport or railway station. The fastest route is a 5-hour drive (about 250 km) via NH275 through Mysuru. Buses run from Bengaluru to Madikeri, and cabs can be arranged through any CoorgOne stay.
Choose an estate bungalow for privacy and plantation walks, a homestay for Kodava home cooking and local stories, or a resort near Kushalnagar for pools, kids' facilities and easy access to the Golden Temple.
Very. Madikeri, Kushalnagar and the Dubare belt are gentle, well-connected and full of short walks. Keep one rest day, avoid the steepest treks with young children, and book stays with ground-floor rooms for elders.
Coffee — Coorg produces most of India's arabica — along with its warrior Kodava culture, pepper and cardamom estates, waterfall trails, the Namdroling Golden Temple and Nagarhole's wildlife.
